Mapping with Geographic Information System (GIS)

Government Outreach’s GIS integration allows your agency to pinpoint problem areas and identify solutions much earlier than before. GIS integration includes:

  • Address validation and standardization based on geographic coordinates (instead of matching exact address text)
  • Validation of non-address locations (like the intersection of Pine and Main)
  • Ability to view request locations on a map along with other location-specific information like permits, crimes, districts, utilities, etc.
  • Looking up districts, wards, or regions for use in reporting or staff assignments
